The Keasbey and Mattison Company, a manufacturing giant in its time, was based in Ambler from 1881 until 1931 and gained recognition peddling a popular headache cure called K & M Effervescent Bromo Caffeine. The concoction, famously sold in a little blue bottle, claimed to heal a myriad ailments and was advertised as being “for brain workers” overtaxed from the mental strain of their jobs. We stumbled upon this little elixir while researching Ambler’s history and could not deny its similarities to our specially formulated espresso blend.
Our Bromo Espresso is crafted with Central American and Indonesian beans, selected and roasted to yield a thick, caramel flavor. Administer as needed to ease the onset of workday slump.
