Our Story
Bergies was founded in 2008 by the Bergeson family in Gilbert, Arizona. The actual store located in a cottage in the historic Heritage District Of Gilbert, opened its doors in early 2009. The cottage itself was occupied by the homesteading Clare family until the 1960’s. We are honored to be a stop on the official historic walking tour in our district. You can read more about our homesteaders on the bronze plaque on the front of our building. We hope the Clare family would be proud of our effort in our outdoor space to create a garden oasis for our community.
Distinctive and Bold
Bergies prides itself on its artisan quality coffee. All beans are Small batch roasted on site by the Bergeson family members. The Bergies team has a passion about not only to provide a great cup of Coffee to their customers but to also provide them an opportunity to discover their own personal favorites through education and by offering a wide variety of bean and roast options.
