Michael Beamer opened the first Beamer's Coffee Bar Ltd. on Bow Valley Trail in January of 1994.
As a graduate of Georgian College with a diploma in Hotel and Resort Management, along with several years experience as Assistant Beverage Manager for the Chateau Lake Louise, he brought high standards of operation and service levels to his new business.
In 2002 Michael struck up a partnership with local food and beverage manager, Darren Boucher. With Darren on board, Beamer's opened a second store located in downtown Canmore on 7th Avenue, just off Main St.
In 2004, we partnered with a private roaster, giving us access to many of the world's best coffees, and allowing us to private label our coffees from around the world.

Offering private labels of gourmet and custom roasted beans, Beamer's has expanded into the 'estate' market of coffee - dealing with the coffee farmers directly to bring you the best possible product.
