  Our master roasters refine outstanding gourmet coffees into premium coffees in a class of their own in our in-house roastery. "Café Cult" has stood for the highest level of coffee enjoyment since 2004. The best green coffees worldwide are roasted gently and to the point in our drum roasters: from organic coffees to newly discovered rarities straight from the countries of origin to current trends. We refine exquisite green coffees quickly and flexibly and delight Café Cult fans all over the world. The Café Cult coffee range now includes over 100 selected varieties. Particular care is one of our most important principles: starting with the selection of the green coffee, through storage, to roasting. We have a network that extends far into the origins and ensures direct contact with the plantation owners. Only here can we find the exquisite qualities for our premium coffees and are prepared to pay prices well above world market levels. 

   Our Café Cult Gourmet coffees are still traditionally roasted slowly at low temperatures in our gas-fired drum roaster. We consciously refrain from industrial shock roasting. Each variety requires a different degree of roast. That is why our coffees are still roasted “by hand”. After roasting, our coffees are cooled down quickly and gently with cold fresh air. We do not use water for cooling, as this hurts the shelf life of the coffee. This creates all the framework conditions that lead to one of the best qualities on the world market. When creating our premium coffees, we follow a major guiding principle, and that is quality. Exclusively aromatic and high-quality gourmet coffees make up our finely tuned range. We not only pay attention to first-class cultivation because only this can lead to a high-quality result, but also to the absolute freshness of the green coffee on arrival in Germany. Of course, the thoughtful and appreciative handling of the coffee, as well as absolute care and experienced roasting tradition are in the foreground. 

  The coffee belt lies like a belt over the equator and includes the areas with a humid and dry climate, in which there are no extreme temperatures and there is sufficient rainfall. The coffee belt is located within 23 ° latitude north and 25 ° latitude south. Almost all of the coffee consumed worldwide comes from this region. Our growing areas include large areas in Central and South America, Africa, India, and Asia.
