Description
We are honored to bring you this coffee from an up-and-coming washing station in Southern Ethiopia! Located just east of the famed coffee producing region of Sidamo, the Nansebo region has been making a name for itself recently in the specialty coffee community. Our friend Mark Barany, from Bend Coffee, has been developing relationships with farmers in Nansebo for years, and we thank him for introducing us to this beautiful new coffee! Farmers from around Nansebo process their coffee centrally at the Gora Kone washing station, where beans are graded according to quality – we buy only the best of the harvest from a variety of small farmers.
The meticulous care given to the coffee throughout growing, harvesting, and processing shines through in the cup, with resounding stone fruit notes, a rich brown sugar-like sweetness, and clean citric acidity on the finish. Once you taste this beauty you’ll understand why we call it “You’re My Best Friend”!
