Dalgona coffee, a new coffee trend. Also called fluffy coffee. Delicious and pleasing to the eye. The original recipe contains instant coffee. But try this variant as a home barista; dalgona coffee from your own freshly ground coffee beans!
DALGONA COFFEE RECIPE
INGREDIENTS
If you want to make dalgona coffee with your own ground coffee beans, it is very simple. For this you need:
5 tablespoons of hot water
2 tablespoons of sugar
4 tablespoons of ground coffee beans
1 coffee filter
1 coffee filter holder
A glass for dripping the coffee into the filter
HOW TO MAKE DALGONA COFFEE
Grind your coffee beans so that you have 4 tablespoons of coffee (about 18 grams). Use a fine grind for this. Mix the coffee with the hot water in a cup and let stand for about 3 minutes. Pour the coffee into a coffee filter and let the coffee drain.
Put the coffee grounds (still a little wet) from the filter into a batter bowl and mix it with the sugar. Blend the mixture with a whisk or in a food processor and continue to blend until it becomes an airy, creamy mixture. Spoon the mixture into a glass with cold or hot milk and your dalgona coffee is ready!
DALGONA COFFEE RECIPE WITH INSTANT COFFEE
Fair is fair, dalgona coffee with instant coffee is also very tasty! And also really super easy to make (much easier than with ground coffee beans). So if the recipe with coffee beans doesn’t work out, try it with instant coffee.
For this, use 2 tablespoons of instant coffee, 2 tablespoons of sugar and 2 tablespoons of hot water. Mix everything together and whisk until creamy.
